OPERATION
1.
Turn the starting switch to ON position (B).
2.
Check the DEF level gauge on the machine monitor.
3.
After checking, turn the starting switch back to OFF posi-
tion (A).
4.
Check that the engine is stopped.
5.
If DEF is insufficient, add DEF.
1)
Prepare BIB container (a) (10 ℓ).
2)
First put BIB container (a) onto the step behind the
DEF tank.
3)
Climb on the top of the track from the front of the ma-
chine.
4)
Move BIB container to top of the DEF tank filler port
cover (1)
5)
Open DEF tank filler port cover (1).
For the opening and closing method of the cover, see
"METHOD FOR OPENING AND CLOSING DEF
TANK FILLER PORT CAP (3-194)".
6)
Clean blue DEF tank filler cap (2) and surrounding
area.
The caps of DEF tanks are blue, as required by emis-
sion regulations.
7)
Open blue DEF tank filler cap (2).
