MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
METHOD FOR CHANGING OIL IN HYDRAULIC TANK, REPLACING HYDRAULIC
OIL FILTER ELEMENT, AND CLEANING HYDRAULIC TANK STRAINER
• Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn in-
jury. Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.
• When the oil filler cap is removed, oil may spout out. Turn the cap slowly to release the internal
pressure, then remove it carefully.
Refill capacity: 69 ℓ
Prepare a container to catch drained oil.
1.
Lower the work equipment to the ground and stop the engine.
2.
Loosen the cap of oil filler port (F) slowly on the top of the
hydraulic tank to release the internal pressure in the hy-
draulic tank.
3.
Remove the cap.
4.
Remove plug (1) at the bottom of the hydraulic tank.
5.
Place the oil container to catch oil under drain valve (2).
6.
Loosen drain valve (2) and drain the oil.
When loosening drain valve (2), be careful not to get oil on
yourself.
7.
After draining the oil, tighten drain valve (2) and plug (1).
8.
Remove mounting bolts (6 pieces) of cover (3).
9.
Remove cover (3).
At this time, the cover may jump out under the force of
spring (4), so hold the cover down when removing the
bolts.
10. Remove spring (4) and valve (5).
11. Remove element (6).
Check the bottom of the filter case for dirt or other materi-
al, and remove any if found.
When doing this, take extreme care that the dirt does not
fall into the hydraulic tank.
12. Clean the removed parts by using cleaning oil.
13. Install the new element in the place where old element (6) was installed.
14. Place valve (5) and spring (4) onto the element.
15. Set cover (3) in position, press it down by hand, and install the cover with the mounting bolts.
16. Remove mounting bolts (6 pieces) of cover (7).
17. Remove cover (7).
