6.48.1.5. Compander Release Time
The Compander Release Time control defines how quickly the compander reacts to a decrease in the
input loudness. The Compander Release Time should be larger than or equal to the Compander Attack
Time. The Compander Release Time can be set to any value from 10 ms to 2000 ms (2 sec.).
6.48.1.6. Detected Program Config Status
The Detected Program Config Status window is used to monitor the type of program in use.
6.48.1.7. Input Loudness Mode
The Input Loudness Mode control defines the window that will be used to produce the Input Loudness
values.
A Momentary selection defines a moving window of 400 ms. A Short Term selection defines a moving
window of 3 s.

6.49. INTELLIGAIN MIXER TAB

As shown in Figure 6-53, there are sixteen individual Output Channel Mixers for the Intelligain Mixer in the
7812UDXD series modules. These Output Channel mixers perform audio inversion, audio gain
adjustment and audio channel swapping for each of the 16 output audio channels. Using the X and Y
inputs of each Output Channel Mixer an additional level of mono-mixing is also available for each channel
of output audio.
For the sake of brevity, only the Audio Proc Ch1-Ch4 control tab will be discussed in this manual. Control
radial buttons for Channel 5-8, Channel 9-12, and Channel 13-16 are identical in their operation. The
controls for Channel 1 will be described in detail, as the controls for Channel 2, Channel 3 and Channel 4
operate in an identical fashion.
