6.33.1.7. Metadata Reversion Mode
The Metadata Reversion Mode is used if metadata is lost on the primary source. With this control, you
can select the backup (reversion) metadata source in case the primary source is lost or in error. A full list
of available options is listed below.

Select the Dolby Decoder A to use the metadata decoded
by the on-card Dolby Decoder. If PCM is provided to the
Dolby Decoder, a default 4x2 Dolby-E metadata message is
generated.
Select the Dolby Decoder B to use the metadata decoded
by the on-card Dolby Decoder. If PCM is provided to the
Dolby Decoder, a default 4x2 Dolby-E metadata message is
generated.
Select External Input 1 to use external metadata provided
on the DB-15 AES In connector.
Select VANC Input 1 to use metadata de-embedded from
VANC area of video.
Select VANC Input 2 to use metadata de-embedded from
VANC area of video.
Select Metadata Adjust A to use the output of the
metadata monitor/processor block.
Select Metadata Adjust B to use the output of the
metadata monitor/processor block.
Select Metadata Authoring A to use the output of the on-
card metadata authoring tool.
Select Metadata Authoring B to use the output of the on-
card metadata authoring tool.
Select Automatic (Default) to use the selected automatic
default configuration.
Select Stop to stop encoding Dolby E with loss of Metadata.
Select Last Good Frame, to have the encoder use the last
known good frame of Metadata.
