Remove the cylinder pin that secures the cylinder rod to the chute lever (see Figure 3-43).

: Take care not to cause misalignment of the limit switch when disconnecting the chute-

operating cylinder.
If needed, retract the chute-operating cylinder. To do so:
4 i.
a) Start the engine and engage the hydraulic pump.
Danger!
Never enter the hopper while the hydraulic system is engaged.
b) Retract the cylinder using the outside chute-operating lever/button.
c) Turn OFF the hydraulic pump and stop the engine.
d) Lock out and tag out the vehicle (see Locking Out and Tagging Out the Vehicle on
page 14).
Remove the plate under the pillow block (see Figure 3-43).
4 j.
Two bolts hold this part in place.
Unscrew the greasing hose from its attachment on the pillow block (see Figure 3-43).
4 k.
Remove the pillow block.
4 l.
Two ½" bolts located under the pillow block hold this part in place (see Figure 3-44).
