Turn OFF the hydraulic pump and the engine.

Remove both protective panels that are fixed to the rear hopper wall (see Figure 3-203).

N : On some trucks, especially those with a single split crusher panel, the crusher panel deflector

also needs to be removed (see Figure 3-204).
Once the protective covers are removed, you will be able to access the area where the chute
cylinder and the rear end section of the chute shaft are.
