150 General Maintenance
Start the engine and engage the hydraulic pump.
Danger!
b) Retract the cylinder using the outside chute-operating lever/button.
c) Turn OFF the hydraulic pump and stop the engine.
d) Lock out and tag out the vehicle (see Locking Out and Tagging Out the Vehicle on
page 14).
Remove the plate under the pillow block (see Figure 3-205).
10 j.
Two bolts hold this part in place.
Unscrew the greasing hose from its attachment on the pillow block (see Figure 3-205).
10 k.
Remove the pillow block.
10 l.
Two ½" bolts located under the pillow block hold this part in place (see Figure 3-206).

The rear section of the chute shaft is now free and unattached.
Next: Disconnecting the front section of the chute shaft.
Remove the flange bearing that is bolted to the automated arm assembly to free the chute
10 m.

Two bolts need to be taken out to remove the flange bearing (see Figure 3-207).
The chute is now free to be pulled out.
Caution!
Never enter the hopper while the hydraulic system is engaged.
This task must be performed by 2 qualified mechanics.
