Solution
Perform a circuit analysis using the
main hydraulic schematics (see
Hydraulic Schematics on page 305).
Make sure that no spool inside the
directional valve is stuck in a
position that could send the
hydraulic flow to the tank.
Replace the electric dump valve.
Tighten all connections to the
pump.
Have the pump repaired by an
authorized service center.
Inspect or replace wear pads as
indicated in Upper Wear Pads on
page 135 and Lower Wear Pad on
page 165.
Inspect or replace sliding shoes as
indicated in Sliding Shoes on
page 127.
Clean or replace the velocity fuse.

Test the power bleed on the tailgate
section of the valve. See Tailgate-
Locking Mechanism on page 340.
Empty the body as explained in the
™ Operator's Manual.

Clean behind the packer (see

Clean the area around the proximity
switches (see Proximity and Limit
Switches on page 200).

switch is
PTO
turned on.
