4. Remove the chute (see Figure 3-40). To perform this task, apply the following steps:
Use a suitable lifting device (e.g. sling or cable) to hold the chute in place.

Start de truck and engage the hydraulic pump.
4 b.
Lower the crusher panel(s), if installed, using the C

cab control panel.
Danger!
Never enter the hopper while the hydraulic system is engaged.

which would be located either on the right-hand side or on the left-hand side of the hopper
(see Figure 3-22).
Turn OFF the hydraulic pump and the engine.

Lock out and tag out the vehicle (see Locking Out and Tagging Out the Vehicle on page 14).

Remove both protective panels that are fixed to the rear hopper wall (see Figure 3-41).
