Component/System
Hydraulic system Check oil level in tank,
and refill if necessary
Check if the shut-off
valve on the hydraulic
tank is open
Check ground for
overnight leaks
Check cylinders, pump,
control valve and
system for leaks. Repair
or replace if required
Replace hydraulic filter
Drain, flush, clean and
refill strainer
Check pressure
Hopper area Clean traps on each side
Tilt down the floating
panel and clean dirt
under or behind the
packer (if no arm is
installed)
Rollers, hydraulic Visually inspect these
cylinders and cylinder items
pins, hoses, pipes and
connections, wear of
floor surface and
hopper sides.
Body and chassis Check for corrosion
Keep contact surfaces
clean between the body
and chassis
Cart tipper Grease and inspect all
pivots
Check pressure
a. Also replace the return filter after the first 50 hours of operation.
