Placing the imaging cartridge in the machine

CAUTION
Damage to the imaging cartridge may result from improper handling
The photo conductor drum of the imaging cartridge is sensitive to contact
and light. Handling it improperly can result in damaging the imaging
cartridge.
Do not touch the safety shield and the photo conductor drum located
behind it on the imaging cartridge
If the imaging cartridge is not placed in the printer immediately, protect
it from the light. Wrap up the imaging cartridge in a thick cloth, for
example.
1
Remove the release lever and open
the side cover.
2
Hold the imaging cartridge firmly
with both hands and shake it. In this
way, any toner that is stuck in place
will be loosened up.
