Clearing a paper jam in tray 2, 3 or 4

1 Turn the printer OFF.
Open the side cover of tray 2, 3, 4

or 5.
3 Pull the jammed paper straight out
of the unit.
? Is there paper in the vertical
transport area (see graphic
below)?
➜ First pull the upper edge of the
jammed paper out of the tray.
➜ Then pull the jammed paper
straight out of the tray.
4 Close the side cover.
