Print out the printer's configuration page, see page 2-21.
The duplex unit is listed under the installed options with the status
"installed". The installation has been completed successfully.

What if the duplex unit is not listed.

Check to make sure the duplex unit's connector is seated correctly
in the printer's connection socket and that the cable is not jammed
or kinked.
Print the printer's test page to check the settings of the left offset for

the duplex unit and correct if necessary, see page 6-21.
If you remove the duplex unit from the printer . .
then you must first set the tensioning device back to its initial position.
To do this, press on the narrow green plastic piece from underneath
and push the tensioning device in the direction of the rear side of the
unit.
