The Minolta PagePro 25 combines a print mechanism (25 pages/minute
with a PowerPC603e RISC processor. The improved IEEE1284 parallel
connection and the network card (Ethernet/Token Ring) provide rapid
data transfer to the PagePro 25. You can expand memory capacity to as
much as 1104 MB.
Minolta's superfine micro-toner system uses minute toner particles for
impressive 600-dpi image quality. Using the Minolta Fine ART procedure
for edge smoothing, you can achieve print resolution that corresponds to
1200 dpi.
The PagePro 25 supports the newest printer languages including PCL6
and Adobe PostScript 3 (available optionally). It offers the opportunity of
expanding to a network via Ethernet (10/100 BaseT, 10BaseT2 and
Token Ring). It supports TCP/IP, Apple-Talk and IPX/SPX and works with
high-performance, cost-free Minolta network management software 'Page
Scope'.
The multipurpose tray (tray 1) of the PagePro 25 and the optional manual
feed unit also take special paper sizes with no problem. Other optional
equipment includes a 5-bin and 10-bin mailbox as well as a duplex kit for
two-sided printing. Thanks to the high-volume paper tray, the PagePro 25
can print as many as 3,750 sheets in a single printing procedure without
having to be resupplied with paper.
If your PagePro 25 is equipped with an optional hard disk drive, it can also
print from multiple originals. Each copy of your document thus becomes
an original.
