Hook the duplex unit into the two
holes over the manual feed unit.

Hold the duplex unit in position with
one hand and tighten the two long
screws.

Insert the two connectors of the
duplex unit into the connector
sockets.

Set the cover for the connection
sockets back in place and fasten the
screws tightly. Make certain that the
connection cable is not jammed in.

Remove the small cover on the top
of the printer and pull the green
tensioning device in the direction of
the arrow.
This provides tension to the wire
cable that bears the weight of the
duplex unit when it is open.
