4.5.3 Front panel control operation

Press and hold the stop button
stop the pump in Auto shut down mode (recommended). Repeat within 10 seconds to
stop the pump in the Fast shut down mode. The running LED
controls, item 2) flashes while the pump is slowing down and will then turn off when the
pump has shut down.

4.6 Automatic shut down

Normally, if an alarm condition exists, the control system will shut down the dry
pumping system. When the dry pumping system shuts down, all the purge gas valves
close and the pump stops. For the dry pumping systems containing a dry pump and
booster combination, some alarms will cause only the booster to stop, and not the full
dry pumping system.

4.7 Unplanned shut down and alarms

The dry pumping system is fitted with a number of pump protection sensors that will
give warnings and alarms. Refer to
