5.6 Online Parameterization
5.6.1 Overview
The online parameterization interface is the main user interface of the diagnostic manager. It
enables access to the most common functions and to the current segment data.
Opening the Online Parameterization Window
To open the online parameterization window, proceed as follows:

Right-click an Advanced Diagnostic Module in the project section.

Choose Parameter > Online Parameterization.
The online parameterization window appears.

This is the main interface. It provides a short overview of
the system and segments settings. Furthermore, it con-
tains the Related Tasks quick start section which
enables you to access key features like segment com-
missioning, diagnostics, etc.
The commissioning wizard is a tool for fast and easy
system setup with ADM. It guides you through the entire
setup process with system and segment calculation.
The diagnostics function displays all alarms that have
occurred at a glance.
This function enables fast validation of a new or
reworked fieldbus installation. It displays a qualitative
rating of the relevant segment and field device data. In
order to save the results as a report, this function
enables you to create a snapshot of the measured val-
ues.
The snapshot explorer simplifies administration and
enables printing of existing snapshots and reports.
This is an offline interface, which means that you can
change these settings without having a direct connec-
tion to the diagnostic device. This interface enables you
to define the power supply, the alarm settings, and the
field devices per segment.
This interface enables detailed access to all possible
settings of the HD2-DM-A. It is for advanced parameter-
ization and can be used to adjust the HD2-DM-A to
some more seldom use cases not covered by the auto-
matic tools like the commissioning wizard.
Allows exporting the history data automatically record
by the HD2-DM-A.
The fieldbus oscilloscope is the perfect tool for in-depth
analysis of the fieldbus signal.
The firmware update function enables you to update the
firmware of a selected advanced diagnostic module
(ADM).
