After the server has stopped, choose Start FDS to restart the server with the updated settings.
The FDS status icon in the taskbar turns green and the FDS is running with the updated set-
tings.

Choose Hide to minimize the FDS control center into the task bar.
Caution!
Network Connection Problems
The diagnostic server is not connected to the network.
Ensure that the Adjust firewall to allow remote access check box is set to "Disable Win-
®
dows
firewall" for the diagnostic server.

FDS Configuration Options
Changing FDS Settings
In order to change the FDS startup behavior, proceed as follows:
1.
Right-click on the FDS icon in the task bar.
2.
Choose FDS Control Center.
The FDS Control Center window appears.
3.
Click the Stop FDS button.
4.
Click Settings ...
5.
Change the settings. For further information see table below.
6.
Click OK.
7.
Restart FDS.
