HD2-DM-A - Advanced Diagnostic Module
General Overview
The advanced diagnostic module (ADM) is a plug-in module for FieldConnex
Together with the diagnostic gateway and the diagnostic manager software solutions, it sup-
ports commissioning, online monitoring and troubleshooting of FOUNDATION Fieldbus or
PROFIBUS PA segments in FieldConnex
characteristics of the fieldbus installation and the fieldbus communication signals. This data is
compared to configurable limits and evaluated by and expert system. The results of the exam-
ination are provided as alarm information and a detailed analysis of detected issues.
