The column "Char." shows which characteristics or conditions are applicable to this parameter.
•
OOS (Out of Service): The parameter can be written only if the target mode of the block is
"Out of Service".
•
S (Static): During each writing process to a parameter of this type, the parameter ST_REV
is increased by 1.
•
W (Writeable): The parameter can be modified by the user.
Since all parameters can be read, this is not marked in a special way.

S
During each writing process to a parameter marked by "S" the
parameter ST_REV is increased by 1.
S, W
An additional description to the tag of the field device.

The strategy field can be used to identify comprising blocks.
This data is not controlled or used by the block.

Identification number of the plant component. This information
can be used by the control computer, e.g., to sort alarms. Valid
values are 1 ... 65536.
S, W
Displays the current, permitted standard mode and the target
mode of the block. The target mode can be set to the values
"Auto" or "Out of Service".
Default: Auto

Out of Service: The actual block mode is OOS.
•
Block configuration error: Check all segment expert sys-
tem messages for information on configuration error cause.
•
Other: The status of any ADM segment is not "good", "no
error", "excellent" or "segment disabled".
This parameter is used to signal to the PCS that a parameter
marked with "S" was overwritten, provided the PCS supports
alarm messages.
This parameter is used to signal to the PCS diagnostic mes-
sages displayed in BLOCK_ERR, provided the PCS supports
alarm messages.
