Background
The fuel pump relay control the battery voltage supplied to the fuel pump.
The PCM provides a ground path for the fuel pump relay.
This DTC indicates an open or short-circuit in the control
Range of Check
Battery voltage: 10 or more
Ignition switch: ON
Set Condition
Open or short circuit is detected in fuel pump relay control circuit for 3 seconds.
Check the fuel pump
Measure at the fuel pump relay connector
Disconnect the connector, and measure at the harness side.
Voltage between 6 and ground
OK: Battery positive voltage
Check the following connector:
Check trouble symptom.
Check the harness wire between the
connector.
Replace the PCM.
