2.9 Opening the CAS Door

2.9 Opening the CAS Door
The CAS magazine insertion door can be opened from the operator panel. If the door is opened, the CAS
Opened icon is displayed in the icon area. If the door is closed after inserting a magazine, the library
automatically performs an inventory operation, and reads the label data for the tape cartridges inserted.
Depending on the backup software type, the door may need to be unlocked via software control.
Procedure

Click the [CAS Open] button in the common button area in the home window.

Select the CAS to open by clicking the CAS number button.

If the CAS door cannot be opened, the CAS number button is dimmed in gray.
