ATTEN TIO N Unused bits in any of the registers return 0 when
you read them.
The Request Service Bit in the Status Byte
A service request (SRQ) occurs when a bit in the Status Byte
register goes from 0 to 1 AND the corresponding bit in the Service
Request Enable Mask is set.
The Request Service (RQS) bit is set to 1 at the same time that the
SRQ is caused. This bit can only be reset by reading it by a serial
poll. The RQS bit is not affected by the condition that caused the
SRQ. The serial poll command transfers the value of the Status
Byte register to a variable.
