General
Setting the Wavelength
Set the wavelength according to the laser option of your
HP E5574A and perform the tests that you want to carry out. After
setting the wavelength allow the laser to settle about 5 minutes.
How to Set the Wavelength
1 Press I .

3 Press 1310 or 1550

Wavelengths for the Different Laser Options:
set wavelength to λ = 1310 nm.
# 013:
set wavelength to λ = 1550 nm.
# 015:
set wavelength to λ = 1310 nm and perform the tests,
# 135:
then
set wavelength to λ = 1550 nm and perform the tests again.
Note the actual wavelength in the test record.
