Acyclic data
The present appendix contains notes on acyclic parameterisation of actuator controls
via Profinet as a table (with read/write access codes).
One parameter or process date is read or written for each Profinet request. The data
lengths indicated in the tables have to be considered accordingly.
Explanations to the table:
Data type
BOOL
BS8/16/32/64
DRVCMD4
enum
I8/16/32
MMSS01
OS4/8/16/32/48/64
S10/20/30/40
U8/16/32
Parameter name. Is indicated in the display of actuator controls.
Read and write access
R = Read
W = Write
Default value
Permissible, settable value or setting range. Depending on the data type, scale factor
and unit are also indicated in square brackets. Example:
Min = 0 [0.1 s]
Max = 50 [0.1 s]
Corresponds to a setting range between 0.1 and 5.0 seconds
Besides the cyclic process data exchange, an additional acyclic communication can
be established using the Profinet services read record and write record.
Reading and writing user parameters (PRM)
Access is made via slot, subslot and index according to the following rule:
Slot = 0
Subslot = 1
Index = attribute "Object ID" for parameter (PRM) of parameter list in appendix
If access is denied, one of the following fault indications is returned with the response
telegram:
