REFERENCE
If air-conditioning or heating equipment is near the printer,
it cools or heats the ink inside the printer at small area,
where the ink viscosity increases and it clogs in the ink
line.
The problem of ink curing from the UV light can be
avoided by locating the printer away from direct sunlight.
Store the Ink Cartridge between 5ºC to 35ºC. If they are
stored out of this range, the ink viscosity is increased. This
viscosity no longer reverts to the original state even in the
appropriate temperature because the ink characteristic is
also changed. Store them away from any direct sunlight.
The expiry date of Ink Cartridge is 8 months after the
production date. Use up the Ink Cartridge before expiration
date. The ink which passes more than 8 months starts
clogging the Ink Damper and Head because its viscosity is
increased and the characteristic is changed, so that it no
longer reverts to the original state even in the appropriate
temperature.
If the room temperature changes quickly, the machine can
perform printing when the room temperature reaches the
proper temperature range of 20ºC to 32ºC, but the ink
temperature cannot reach it so quickly and it may still be
out of the proper range in high viscosity. Especially under
20ºC, the viscosity is considerably high.
Generally, it is not recommend to wipe the nozzle surface
of Head with a cleaning stick. However, it's worth trying
before replacing the Head. Soak the cleaning stick in
cleaning liquid fully, and then tap and scrub the surface of
Head with it.
Wiping does not work effectively and foreign substances
left on the head surfaces cannot be removed completely.
If a used Ink Cartridge is not stored in the aluminum bag,
the ink around the spout of ink cartridge might be cured
due to the UV light. Also, if the Ink Cartridge is exposed
under high temperature for a long time, the ink might be
cured. Once the ink in the Ink Cartridge is cured, the head
does not fire the ink properly because the Ink Cartridge
cannot supply the ink smoothly.
UV ink in the damper might be cured when it is irradiated
with UV. If it is cured, the head does not fire the ink
properly because the damper cannot supply the ink
smoothly.
Cleaning does not work effectively and the nozzle
condition cannot be improved. Also, if the head is not
capped correctly, the head dries and it may cause the
head nozzle clogging.
Generally, it is not recommend to wipe the nozzle surface
of Head with a cleaning stick. However, it's worth trying
before replacing the Head. Soak the cleaning stick in
cleaning liquid fully, and then tap and scrub the surface of
Head with it.
Ink suction during cleaning does not work and the nozzle
condition cannot be improved.
