Assembly and Ink Filling Checks before Operations Completed Drawing Necessary Tools (Included Items) • Hexagonal wrench (1) • Pipe (Use this when the hexagonal wrench is too short to easily tighten bolts) (1) • Bolts (40) • Washers (12) Step 1: Assemble the Stand and Mount the Machine on the Stand WARNING Perform this task with all power switches left switched off. - Page 27 2. Position the stand legs so that their U-shaped brackets face the inside, and then tighten the bolts securely (eight locations in total) in the order shown below. Loose bolts may cause the stand to wobble. Temporarily tighten the bolts in the two upper locations.

Failure to observe this instruction may cause the machine to move suddenly, resulting in injury. Procedure Place the shafts on the stand. Pass the left media holder onto the shafts. Pass it through from the right edge as seen from the rear of the machine. - Page 31 2. Assembly and Ink Filling Lift up the front shaft and rear shaft at the same time. Pass the rear shaft through the media stays. Pass the rear shaft through the two media stays. Pass the right media holder onto the shafts, and then attach the retaining screw. It is sufficient to tighten the retaining screw lightly.

REMOVE CL-LIQUID When the following screen is displayed, insert SOL INK cleaning cartridges into the slots whose numbers are flashing.

The precipitation of the ingredients in the ink disables printing in normal color. So that the ink mixes well, shake the ink cartridge horizontally with a stroke length of around 5 cm (2 in.) from each end of the ink cartridge.
