Remove the 2 screws to remove the Carriage Cover.

The screws for fi xing the Carriage Cover are the
screw with washer.
Remove the Damper Plate.

Put back the I/S Cover temporarily to prevent the ink

from hardening.
There is no need to fi x the screws.
Turn on the sub power SW while pressing the Left,

Right and Down keys to enter the Service Mode.
Setup the PET fi lm on the machine.
Select [MENU] > [HEAD HEIGHT] > [LOW] and click
6
[ENTER] key.
