Fix the Media Thickness Checking Sensor Unit by using the

Block [1000008363 : TOOL,BLOCK LEJ-640 ST-122]
following the below steps.

Projection
Set the projection part of the block into the groove.
<Above view>
Adjust the position of the Unit by pushing downward
the blue colored area of the Unit as shown in the fi gure.
Remove the block by sliding it to the left.

Turn on the sub power while pressing the Left, Right

and Down keys to enter the Service Mode.

While holding the Sensor Unit up, slide the Block to put it
under the unit.

Fix the 2 screws in order as shown in the
fi gure while holding the adjusted position.
