7. Remove 2 small screws (2.5×5) securing the encoder pulse sensor and
1 screw (CBP, 3×8) securing the paper width sensor, then remove both
sensors. (See Figure 4-68.)

4.2.5.23 Rear Cover Removal

1. Remove the upper housing. (See section 4.2.1.)
2. Remove the front housing. (See section 4.2.2.)
3. Remove the printer mechanism. (See section 4.2.3.)
4. Remove the main board shield plate. (See section 4.2.5.4.)
5. Remove the fan. (See section 4.2.5.5.)

Paper width sensor is
mounted inside.
6. Remove the power supply. (See section 4.2.5.6.)
7. Disconnect connector CN24 on the main board.
8. Remove the red interlock assembly cable from 3 plastic clips.
9. Release 2 hooks attaching the interlock assembly to the left frame,
then remove the interlock assembly and rear cover. (See Figure
4-69.)
