Paper jam error
If the PE sensor detects paper on the paper path when there shouldn't be
any, or the printer fails to eject a sheet with the FF command or the Eject
button, the printer shows a paper jam error. The same LEDs will light up if
the paper path cover is open.
No ink cartridge error
If an ink cartridge becomes disengaged or isn't installed, an ink-out error
occurs.
Maintenance required error
When the total quantity of ink consumed during cleanings and flushing
reaches a set limit, the printer shows this error and stops. The waste ink
pad must be replaced with a new one by a service technician. The error
will not clear until the waste ink pad is replaced and the EEPROM is reset
by a service person.
Fatal Errors
When fatal errors such as a carriage control error or a CG (character
generator) access error are detected, the printer shows a fatal error
message and stops. The printer must be taken to a qualified repair
technician.
