INK VALVE MECHANISM

The purpose of the ink valve mechanism is to prevent ink leaks when
transporting the printer. The Stylus Pro 5000 does not have a waste ink
sequence like the Stylus Color 3000. Since this printer does not perform
an initial ink charge, do not remove the ink cartridges from the printer
during transportation.
