21. Remove 1 screw (CBP, 3×8) and a leaf spring securing the upper
surface sensor, then remove the sensor. (See Figure 4-136.)
CAUTION
Do not lose the leaf spring. It is essential

to the upper surface sensor positioning
adjustment.
During assembly, install the leaf spring

with the convex side facing the screw
head. (See Figure 4-59.)
 
After replacing the upper surface sensor, you
 
must perform the upper surface sensor
positioning adjustment. See Chapter 5 for
details.

22. Remove 5 screws (CBP, 3×6) securing the 5 curlers, then remove the
curlers. (See Figure 4-137.)

REMINDER
The 5 curlers are identical.
1. Remove 1 screw (CBS, 3×15) holding the two halves of the curler
together. (See Figure 4-138.)
