12. Remove the 2 compression springs (9.9) that press the printheads
against the carriage. (See Figure 4-20.)

REMINDER
If the printheads cannot be easily removed after
releasing them, pull up where indicated by the
arrows in Figure 4-20.
13. Remove the printheads. (See Figure 4-21.)


REMINDER
When replacing the printheads, connect the
FFCs correctly. The left printhead FFC is
marked with an "O".
 
After replacing the printhead, refer to Table 5-1,
 
and perform all necessary adjustments.
