4.2.5.16 Auto Sheet Feeder Removal

1. Remove the upper housing. (See section 4.2.1.)
2. Remove the front housing. (See section 4.2.2.)
3. Remove the printer mechanism. (See section 4.2.3.)
4. Remove the printheads. (See section 4.2.5.3.)
5. Remove the carriage motor. (See section 4.2.5.8.)
6. Remove the carriage. (See section 4.2.5.10.)
7. Remove the paper eject frame. (See section 4.2.5.11.)
8. Remove the upper paper guide. (See section 4.2.5.12.)
9. Remove the pump frame. (See section 4.2.5.13.)
10. Remove the paper feed frame. (See section 4.2.5.14.)
11. Remove the print feed roller. (See section 4.2.5.15.)
12. Remove 1 screw (CBS, 3×8) with 2 washers holding the left paper
quantity sensor to the frame, then remove the left paper quantity
sensor. (See Figure 4-57.)

13. Remove all cables from the cable clip on the left paper quantity sensor.
(See Figure 4-57.)
14. Remove 2 screws (CBS, 3×6) securing the auto sheet feeder to the
frame, then remove the auto sheet feeder. (See Figure 4-58.)
 
After assembly, perform the upper surface sensor
 
positioning adjustment. See Chapter 5 for details.
