4.2.5.1 Discharge Brush Removal

1. Remove the upper housing. (See section 4.2.1.)
2. Remove the front housing. (See section 4.2.2.)
3. Remove the printer mechanism. (See section 4.2.3.)
4. Remove 3 screws (CBS Sems W2, 3×8) securing the discharge brush
to the paper eject frame, and remove the discharge brush. (See Figure
4-14.)


REMINDER
You must remove the discharge brush before
performing a Printhead Angle Adjustment or
Printhead Height Adjustment.

4.2.5.2 Paper Guide Cover Removal

1. Remove the upper housing. (See section 4.2.1.)
2. Remove the front housing. (See section 4.2.2.)
3. Remove the printer mechanism. (See section 4.2.3.)
4. Detach a hinge by pushing the paper guide cover to the side, then
remove the paper guide cover. (See Figure 4-15.)
