4.5.2 ASF Assembly

Follow the steps below to assemble the ASF. Do not attempt to assemble
the ASF by following the disassembly procedures in reverse.
1. Attach gear (10) to the curler lever plate, positioning the eccentric shaft
as shown in Figure 4-142.

2. Put a positioning pin through the hole in gear (24). (See Figure
4-143.)

3. Install gear (24), inserting the positioning pin into the hole in the curler
lever plate. (See Figure 4-144.)

4. Make sure the marks on gear (24) and gear (10) are aligned as shown
in Figure 4-145. If they aren't aligned, remove gear (24) and perform
steps 1 through 3 again.
