FIC-HNDE
Introduction
The high network data encryption module (FIC-HNDE) delivers IPSec and hardware-based IP
packet encryption. It supports multiple hardware encryption/decryption and hash algorithms, thus
providing encryption with high performance and reliability.
The FIC-HNDE is intended for low-end and mid-range modular routers. Installed with an FIC-HNDE,
the main board of your router can implement VPN with encryption provided by the FIC-HNDE in
addition to IP packet forwarding.
Description
•
On: Carrier signal has been received.
•
Flashing: Data is being received or/and transmitted.
•
Off: No carrier signal has been received.
•
On: The interface is in a loopback.
•
Off: No loopback or alarm is present.
•
Flashing: An alarm indication signal (AIS), loss of frame alignment
(LFA) signal, or remote alarm indication (RAI) signal is present.
