B-Channel
Bearer channel) - ISDN channel for the transportation of user data (e. g.
speech) for direct communication between subscribers.

CD
Call Deflection - refers to call forwarding during the ringing period. If Call
Deflection has been activated, the called subscriber can deflect the call on
a case-to-case basis while the phone is still ringing.
Certificate
A (digital) certificate is similar to a digital passport that serves to identify the
owner of the certificate. Its authenticity can be verified by cryptographic
procedures. The certificate thus confirms the identity of a person or a
company by means of an asymmetric key, thus ensuring that the person or
company really is the person/company it claims to be. Certificates are
issued by an officicial institution, the Certification Authority (CA).
