Chapter 1. Introduction EverFocus’ VANGUARD 16x8H Plus is a hybrid DVR supporting AHD/TVI/SD cameras and IP cameras. Operating on a Linux-based system, the DVR is able to install up to 4 SATA HDDs with 8TB storage capacity per HDD. Besides, the DVR also supports one e-SATA for external backup storage.

H.265 VANGUARD 16x8H Plus Chapter 2. Connection and Installation 2.1 Hard Disk Installation You can install up to four 3.5” HDDs. The maximum capacity of each HDD is 8TB. 1. Make sure the DVR is power-off. Unscrew the ten housing screws on the DVR, and remove the housing cover from the DVR.
