Remove the fan cover

Verify if the fan unit type is correct for the rack configuration. See Table 7.
Remove the installed fan unit:
i
Loosen the captive screws of the fan cover and remove the cover; see Figure 77.
ii
Pull the unit out of the fan area by the handles; see Figure 78.
Danger — When the fan unit is extracted, the fans will still be rotating.
Do not to touch the fans, because this may cause bodily harm.
Caution — To prevent possible damage to equipment, take care to not
allow dust into the cage card area, or onto card components, when
removing the fan filter.
