Cause
Dry run protection is activated.

0003 Maximum torque limit too low.
0004 Current measurement
calibration did not finish within
reasonable time

What to do
Check the pump inlet for sufficient
water level. Check dry run protection
settings in parameter group
protections.
• Check the number of PV cells
connected in series.
• Ensure that voltage is less
than the voltage set in 79.43 PV cell max
voltage.
Check the nominal motor values in
parameter group 99 Motor
Check that no external control system is
connected to the drive.
Cycle the power to the drive (and its
control unit, if powered separately).
Check that no operation limits prevent
the completion of the ID run. Restore
parameters to default settings and try
again.
Check that the motor shaft is not locked.
Check settings of parameters
Motor nominal current and
Maximum current. Make sure that
30.17 > 99.06.
Check that the drive is dimensioned
correctly according to the motor.

• 30.11 Minimum speed
• 30.12 Maximum speed
• 99.07 Motor nominal voltage
• 99.08 Motor nominal frequency
• 99.09 Motor nominal
Make sure that
• 30.12 > (0.55 × 99.09) >
(0.50 × synchronous speed)
• 30.11 < 0, and
• supply voltage > (0.66 × 99.07).
Check settings of parameter
nominal torque, and the torque limits in
group 30 Limits.
Make sure that the maximum torque limit
in force is greater than 100%.
