ALTERNATOR AND AIR CONDITIONING
BELTS
The alternator has a matched t w o belt system.
Both belts are tightened to the correct tension at the
same time by t h e adjusting screw.
(1) Disconnect battery negative cable from battery.
(2) Loosen alternator pivot bolt (Fig. 5 or 6).
(3) Loosen alternator locknut.
