(16) Remove the bolt securing t h e p a r k p a w l shaft

i n the case (Fig. 17).

(17) Tap the case l i g h t l y o n a wood block to dis-

lodge the p a w l shaft, p a w l and s p r i n g (Fig. 18).

(18) Remove t h e seal and damper weight from t h e

overdrive case (Fig. 19).

(19) Remove t h e p a r k lock r o d f r o m the valve body

i f the r o d or b a l l end are w o r n o r damaged (Fig. 19).
