Gear oil radiator
Removing gear oil radiator
The gear oil radiator is located on the rear right-hand side of the vehicle, in front of the rear bumper.
Remove the rear bumper (
E3.04).
Remove the duct (1) by undoing the indicated
fasteners.
The internal nut is in common with the radiator
fastening to the chassis.
Clean the inlet area of the unions (2) on the radiator
with a suitable degreaser that does not leave
residues.
Place a container under the unions to collect any oil
spillage.
Mark the position of the unions (2) on the radiator to
avoid inverting them during the reassembly
operations.
Undo the unions (2) on the gear oil radiator (A).
Place immediately suitable plugs on radiator and
pipe inlets.
Clean any spilt fluid.
