Each CD attached to the LSM includes a manual mode operator display panel and a
control panel
LSM and operate only during manual cartridge operation.
The display panels for the transports are above the top transport on the air box cover. In
units that use the DD cards (rather than the DDM card), the top display corresponds to
the top transport, the bottom display to the lowest transport, and so on. In units that use
the DDM card, the upper left corner of the display corresponds to transport 0, the upper
right corner to transport 1, the lower left corner to transport 2, and the lower right corner
to transport 3.
During normal operation, the display is blank. The control panel is to the right of the
transport opening and is mounted on the air box for each of the installed transports.

Changes the state of the machine from online to
offline, or the reverse. Before you press it for an

offline state, place the unit offline from the console.

After you press it for an online state, place the unit
online at the console.
When you press the
LED flashes until the transport changes state. If this

LED is on continuously, the transport is offline; if it
is off, the transport is online.
