Placing the LSM in Manual Mode

Refer to the appropriate software manual for the command syntax and console messages
to place the LSM in manual mode. The LSM remains in manual mode until you issue a
command to place the LSM online.

Making Sure the LSM is Offline

If you do not see a console message indicating that the LSM is offline, type a command
to display the LSM status.
Note: Placing the LSM offline does not cause the cartridge drives (CDs) in the affected
