13.1

Maintenance

The measuring system is almost maintenance-free.
The only maintenance task is replacing the batteries of the
terminal.

13.1.1 Replacing the batteries

Note
The batteries buffer the internal real time clock. When the
batteries are changed, no data except for the date and time
are lost.

Open the battery compartment (1) on the underside
of the instrument.

Remove the two batteries from the battery
compartment.

Place two new batteries (type Mignon AA) in the
battery compartment.

Close the battery compartment (1).

Set the date and time according to section 5.1.

Caution
Make sure that the poles of the batteries are the right way
round.
The
signs on the batteries must correspond to the

in the battery compartment.
Only use leakproof alkaline manganese batteries.
