Eco-mode
A list of the Eco-mode setting state and the Eco-mode schedule that is registered in the ETERNUS DX are
displayed.
The Eco-mode function schedules the drive operating time in compliance with Massive Arrays of Idle Disks
(MAID). This function saves power by stopping the drive motors or turning off the drives power outside of the
scheduled operating time period.
The ETERNUS AF250/AF650 and the ETERNUS DX200F do not support this function.
The following items are displayed in the Main area:
Eco-mode General Settings
Eco-mode
The Eco-mode setting (enabled or disabled) for all of the ETERNUS DX storage systems is displayed.
Eco-mode Schedule
No.
The schedule number is displayed.
By clicking this link, the [Eco-mode Schedule] screen is displayed. Refer to
Detail" (page 59)
If the Eco-mode is controlled with the Storage Foundation Software ETERNUS SF, a "-" (hyphen) is
displayed.
Schedule Name
The schedule name is displayed.
If the Eco-mode is controlled with Storage Foundation Software ETERNUS SF, "External" is displayed.
Events
The number of events that are registered in the schedule is displayed.
If the Eco-mode is controlled with the Storage Foundation Software ETERNUS SF, a "-" (hyphen) is
displayed.
