To collect data, type:
vmstat s ↵
where s is the time, in seconds, over which you want to collect data. Alcatel recommends that you
start with 2 s.
Review the vmstat output. The following is a sample of vmstat data. See Table 7-3
for a description of the vmstat report.

There are slots for up to four disks, labeled with a
single letter and number. The letter indicates the

logical unit number.
